Anti-Bullying Week

This week was anti-bullying week.

During the course of the week, the children have fully engaged with various activities including; what bullying means?, How it might feel if someone is being bullied?, And what can be done to help?
Following some of the anti-bullying workshops in class, the children of Class 4 requested to compose a play to illustrate how to cope with bullying, that they could perform in collective worship. This was well received by the rest of the school, who thoroughly enjoyed their interactive performance.
In addition, some other members of the class volunteered to act as ‘anti-bullying ambassadors’ for the school, inviting any children who are experiencing difficulties, inside or outside of school, to come and talk to them.
We have also constructed a ‘Kindness Wall,’ comprised of bricks (made from nets) covered in advice on how to be a kind person.
